| Solveig was born
and educated in Sydney, commecing her education at East Sydney Technical
College in 1968, continuing at Elsternwick Art School in Victoria
and Camden Art School in London. She also studied Fine Arts at Sydney
University while tutoring Life Drawing in Mullumbimby and Byron Bay,
and spent some time with Ed Melford in Avalon, who was a Master of
Portrait. From 199094 she tutored from her studio in Urbenville
and the Border Ranges, while studying with Michael Taylor in Lismore.
For the past five years she has continued to work from her home
in Bellingen.
