Marta Lett is an Australian
Artist of calligraphy, celtic design, glass etching / painting
and
fibre crafts.
Her inspiration comes from the rich artistic heritage of
the celtic peoples, magnificent illuminated manuscripts of
the past two millennia, and our unique Australian flora and
fauna. She loves creating detail in pattern, taking great
pleasure in the crispness of each new design and playing
with the possibilities of colour.
Marta's current work focuses on a blending of Australia
plants and animals with celtic art principles - expressing
her living connection with the Australian Landscape and her
celtic
heritage
from Northern
Continental Europe, Britain and Ireland.
