Marta has been an arts tutor
for Adult & Community education centres in NSW since
1992. Her early experience began with fundamental arts training
at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney NSW. Later, Marta's
work led her into the field of graphic arts and print media.
She started on her celtic / calligraphic journey in 1991
with the well respected Coffs Calligraphers club at Coffs
Harbour in NSW. In 1997 she completed the certificate IV
in calligraphy, with a high distinction, as well as the certificate
IV in teaching of calligraphy.
Techniques:
Marta uses a variety media: including watercolour gouache,
inks, gold leaf and powders, acrylics, watercolours and colour
pencils, as well as etching and painting glass and chiseling
in slate or wood.
She has recently expanded her repertoire to include screen
printing her Aussie-Celtic designs onto t-shirts and scarves.
